Blast Test center

Unique in France, BS&A organizes “turnkey” pyrotechnic tests to validate your designs or validate prototypes.

Infrastructure protection against explosions

Full-scale validation testing

We validate your designs according to the most commonly used standards (EN 13123-2, 13124-2 and ISO 16933/4) by integrating all the requirements of the standards, including the metrology part provided by BS&A.

In the case of "infrastructure" protection solutions, the tests can be carried out in an arena or in an impact tube, making it possible to reproduce large-scale industrial explosions.

Analysis and calculation for better and less testing!

Our approach is to maximize the chances of success of your tests. We carry out advanced calculations or simulations for you in order to predict the behavior of materials and structures.

This approach not only offers you significant cost savings (reduction in the number of tests), but also a better understanding of the physical phenomena experienced by your concepts.

Blast tests for applied Research

From 0 to 500 kq eq. TNT, we study all possible configurations.

The test facilities are used to carry out tests for the defense and transport sectors. The implementation is fast and BS&A carries out pyrotechnic safety studies in order to verify the feasibility of your project. You can write to us at contact@blastsolutions.io to send us your requests, which we will consider.

Test your concepts

BS&A provides all the equipment required for measurement (reflected and incident pressure sensors, high-speed cameras), the ability to produce scale models (within the limits of the phenomenon to be observed) and upstream studies using digital simulation.

Test instrumentation to control the value chain.

Thanks to instrumentation adapted to the speed of the phenomena observed, we collect relevant data during tests, which are then used to refine numerical calculations. Measurement results are used to study the behavior of new materials and improve confidence in your numerical models for future studies.

Send us an email with a brief description (standards, schedule) of your project.
